RETURN & REFUND POLICY

1. Overview

This Return and Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on londa.co.za and is governed by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA"), the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 ("ECTA"), and all other applicable South African legislation.

2. Your Statutory Rights (CPA Section 56 – Implied Warranty)

All products sold by Londa carry an implied warranty of quality for 6 months from the date of delivery. If a product is found to be defective, unsafe, or not fit for its intended purpose within this period, you are entitled to:

  • Have the product repaired,
  • Have the product replaced, or
  • Receive a full refund.

Londa will assess the defect and determine the appropriate remedy. We reserve the right to inspect the product before processing any return under this warranty.

3. Cooling-Off Period (ECTA Section 44 – Online Purchases)

As this is an online store, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 7 business days of receiving your order, without reason, provided:

  • The product is unused, in its original condition, and in its original packaging.
  • All accessories, manuals, and included items are returned.
  • You bear the cost of returning the product to us.

Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product, we will refund the purchase price within 15 business days, excluding original shipping costs.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange, except where required by the CPA:

  • Products that have been used, damaged, or tampered with after delivery.
  • Products with removed or damaged serial numbers or security seals.
  • Products returned without original packaging or accessories.
  • Software, digital products, or items that have been activated or registered.

5. Defective or Damaged Products

If your product arrives damaged or is found to be defective:

  • Notify us within 10 business days of delivery at support@londa.co.za with your order number and photos of the defect.
  • We will arrange collection at our cost if the defect is confirmed.
  • Londa reserves the right to assess and verify the defect before offering a repair, replacement, or refund.

We are not liable for damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, unauthorized modifications, or failure to follow product instructions.

6. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Email support@londa.co.za with your order number, reason for return, and supporting photos where applicable.
  2. Await written authorization from Londa before sending any item back — unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
  3. Ship the product securely to the address provided in our authorization email.
  4. Retain proof of postage/courier tracking.

7. Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed within 15 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned product. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method. Londa is not responsible for delays caused by payment processors or banks.

8. Exchanges

Exchanges are offered at Londa's discretion, subject to stock availability. If the requested item is unavailable, a refund or store credit will be offered.

9. Shipping Costs

  • Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to a defect, damage, or an error on our part.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defect or our error.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Londa's liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use or inability to use our products.

11. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at support@londa.co.za. If unresolved, you may refer the matter to the National Consumer Commission (NCC) at www.thencc.org.za or the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) at www.cgso.org.za.
